Chia Green Smoothie
This is a great smoothie for making sure you are getting plenty of superfoods into your diet. The added chia, flaxseeds or protein powder also ensure that you get an extra protein boost.
You can vary this recipe by adding protein powder (vanilla tends to work best) and…
it’s especially good post workout.
Try mixing it up with Flaxseeds instead of Chia or both!

- 2 handfuls spinach
- 1 kale leaf, medium

Method:
- In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. If using a regular blender it is best to add the ingredients in the order listed above and press “pulse” on and off to get the blending process started.
- Then I usually hit “grate” and “liquefy” after. The order doesn’t matter for a powerful blender.
Best consumed straight away but it can be stored for up to 12 hours in the fridge.
