Salt and Vinegar Almonds, Healthy and great to have as a snack or at a party

Salt and Vinegar Almonds

Such an easy and delicious snack and great party food.  These were ‘a hit’ at the opening of the studio last month with lots of people asking how I made them. I had the help of the “I quit sugar” book for this one, although I did not have the time to soak the nuts over night and instead just soaked them for 2 hours and smacked them in the oven with my other cooking for 30-45 mins on 180 degrees and they turned out super tasty still.

Recipe:

  • 1 1/2 cups almonds (if you want activated nuts, which I would recommend, then soak them over night first)
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar (I use Bragg’s)
  • 1 Tbsp sea salt

Toss the cider vinegar and salt over the almonds before placing in the oven.  Sarah from “I quit sugar” recommends placing them in the oven on the lowest heat possible for 12-24 hours.

So here you go, if you loved my nuts then give this recipe a go.  Cook them overnight whilst you sleep or do a quick job on a higher heat like me.  Either way they come out tasting delicious.

Enjoy
