Brighton Fitness Studio Open day
What a fabulous day we had last month at the opening of my new Fitness, Yoga and Pilates Studio in South Brighton.
We started off the day with some FitHIT action, where those that were keen for a free class came along first thing in the morning for a gruelling Interval training session. These quick 45 min sessions are designed to burn maximum calories in the minimum time by using big compound movements with weights to tone muscle and burn fat.
We then moved onto a slightly more relaxing Pilates session. An hour of Pilates will help to relieve aches and pains after a day at work. Strengthening your core from the inside out and improving imbalances in the body is the main focus with Pilates.
Shortly after Pilates we had a beautiful Vinyasa flow Yoga class, again an hour of this after work or at the beginning of the day will make you feel amazing. The main focus of Vinyasa Flow Yoga is the breath, combining different postures/movements with each breathe, allowing you to focus on yourself and your body whilst calming your mind. This class is great for strengthening, with held postures allowing that little extra time to really stretch into the poses.
After all those classes, Phew, we had some lovely healthy snacks and bubbly to celebrate the hard work and effort that had gone into getting the studio up and running and to thank all my lovely clients for supporting me and making this happen.
It has been a great start already with Pilates and Yoga classes filling up, so much so that I am looking at potentially putting on some more classes. If you are interested in joining any of the classes then click here for the timetable.
None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for the amazing support of my clients and friends, Thank You, you awesome crew, you know who you are, even if you didn’t quite make it in front of the camera 🙂
